We present the conceptual and technologic elaboration of five large scale-sized figures that make up a religious ceremony of the Holy Week. Furthermore, we review the application of the key issues that restoration offers in the studies and comprehension of artistic production which allow guidelines to be established for the creation of new artworks by not only rescuing ancient methods and technological systems, but by also producing different updated methodologies based on traditional ones.
