Abstract
Describes the function of a Subsurface Interface Radar System and the application of the instrument in a reconnaissance survey of a selected plot of a colonial town site in Old Dorchester State Park, South Carolina. The profile recorded by the ground-penetrating radar instrument was processed through a software package, RADAN. It revealed evidence of five buried structures on the computer-aided map.
