Abstract
Describes the restoration of Castle Friedrichsfelde in Berlin-Lichtenberg from the viewpoint of the restorer. The building in question dates from the baroque period and was rebuilt in a classical style around 1800. It has suffered greatly from lack of necessary repairs. The renewal of the interior rooms was begun in 1974. A description of the work, carried out under great difficulties, follows. In 1981 it was reopened to visits. -- AATA
