Abstract
Description of a metal stylus which may have been used in medieval times to write on wax tablets. It was acquired in 1848 by the Weimar library; its age is unknown. An examination on chromatographic paper by R.-D. Bleck proved that the metal is composed of stannous bronze. -- AATA
