Presentation of three recent restoration case studies in Sweden illustrates the application of the so-called Italian Restoration Doctrine to the conservation of historic Swedish monuments: the Soderbarke Church, in southern Dalarna; the Havero Church in northern Roslagen; and the Neo-Dalarna, Gothic Oscar Fredrik Church in Gothenburg. Emphasis is placed on speciflc restoration problems.
