Experiments have shown that a mixture of 93% methylene chloride and 7% methanol is an effective solvent for epoxy resin. Enzymatic removal of epoxies with pineapple juice and bromelain solutions proved ineffective, though the latter may be useful for removing proteinaceous adhesives.
