From among a variety of adhesives of varying origin, vegetal, animal, or synthetic, a study is made of animal glue and polymethylacrylate. The chemical properties, setting, quality, and different uses of these two adhesives for restoration work, especially paper documents, are discussed and a few formulations for specific use described. -- AATA
