Abstract
Describes the technique used in the deacidification and restoration of paintings, on art paper, reproduced from the Ajanta caves. The traditional repair process using silk gauze with starch paste is observed to have yielded satisfactory reinforcement of the brittle damaged sheets. -- AATA
