Abstract
In the course of photochemically-induced fading, alizarin lake mixed with photochemically inert titanium white in a polyvinylacetate vehicle apparently passes through a yellow intermediate stages. A graphical method permits calculation of the specific rate constant for the first-order rate of fading of the yellow intermediate. Graphs, tables, references.
