Abstract
The corrosion of copper alloy and techniques for its restoration are shown, using the example of a heavily corroded, bronze statue from Benin, a large Chinese buddha statue, a Chinese cloisonné vase, and objects from Pre-Columbian tombs in Peru. The analytical methods for the analysis of the materials and their alteration products are described. The techniques for the removal of the corrosion products and the process for conservation is explained. -- AATA
