Abstract
A system of plumbed-in humidifiers in Huntly House Museum is assessed. The benefits in improved environmental conditions are demonstrated. Everyday practical problems of machine design, plumbing, control, mechanical maintenance, and cleaning are discussed, and some solutions are offered. The system has been shown to be useful, but requires great attention to detail to be safe and effective. -- AATA
