Abstract
Completion of parchment manuscripts deteriorated as a result of biological effects is a very complicated task, and although several different methods are applied for this purpose, none of them may be considered suitable for the restoration of severely damaged leaves. In 1983 experiments on the completion of parchment leaves by manual casting started in the Hungarian National Library. -- AATA
