The Smithsonian Institution's Museum Support facility was dedicated on May 16, 1983. The Center, which will house 6 million objects (75% of them from the National Museum of Natural History), will provide artifact storage with optimal climate and security conditions. This article provides a very short description of the Center's design. -- AATA
