Abstract
The Jericho head is a carved plaster bust produced in Neolithic times before the advent of ceramic technology. This article discusses the plaster technology of the time and the materials characterization of this important piece using radiography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDXRS). -- AATA
