Abstract
The article describes various modifications of the optical path of the goniometer device of x-ray fluorescence equipment resulting in significant improvement of sensibility and accuracy, whereby the minimal sample size can be as small as 0.5mm<sub>2</sub>. It also shows how the performance of an out-of-date apparatus from 1958 can be improved at a low-cost level. -- AATA
