Abstract
Laboratory evaluation of pentachlorophenol, coal tar creosote, and CCA as wood preservatives by the weight loss method was compared with the oxygen utilization method. The weight loss and oxygen utilization methods gave similar results, but incubation times of 6 to 8 weeks were necessary to obtain results comparable with those previously published. -- AATA
