Describes the method of conservation and restoration of an illustrated 13th century parchment manuscript at the Central Scientific Research Laboratory for Conservation of Museum Artistic Works, Moscow. A rebinding was removed, moist compresses were used to soften joiner's glue on the spine for removal with a scalpel, a moistening process was used to smooth the individual pages; flaking portions of the painted miniatures were adhered with a water dispersion of vinyl acetic copolymer with 3 to 5% concentration of 2-ethylhexilacrylate (sic). The manuscript was restiched and bound with leather covered boards. Examination of the miniatures showed work of several artists.
