A report to the Biological Control Committee of The American Paper Institute has been made covering their program for the microbiological screening of biostatic agents suggested for use in the pulp and paper industry. Included in the report are 1) a description of the test method, 2) a complete listing of the toxicity data obtained for 334 compounds tested to date under this program, 3) a listing of the supplier and active ingredients of the test compounds, and 4) relative toxicity data for 16 new compounds tested during the current year. -- CAL
