Abstract
The general feasibility of employing radiocalcium (<sup>4</sup>1</sup>Ca, t<sub>1</sub>/</sub>2</sub>=ca. 10<sup>5</sup> years) to infer the age of bone and other calcium-bearing materials in the temporal range of up to ca. 1 million years is being evaluated.
