The purpose of this technical order is to provide instructions for the refinishing of turbo-jet and gas turbine engines undergoing overhaul, in order that all surfaces are properly protected from corrosion, and to insure the satisfactory condition and appearance of overhauled engines comparable to new engines delivered by the engine manufacturers.
