Experiments with vapor phase inhibitors were conducted on four metals: mild steel, copper, brass, and aluminum. Four derivatives of thiourea (allyl thiourea, phenyl thiourea, tetra methyl thiourea, mono and disulphide) were studied for six months in a closed desiccator. Results are shown with microphotographs.
