Abstract
Strippable plastic coatings have provided the aircraft industry with an inexpensive method of preventing deterioration of metal airframe fixtures and plaster patterns that are stored in open areas and exposed to the weather. More important, this type of coating permits reuse of the parts without extensive reworking of repair. The application of these coatings and economies resulting from their use are discussed.
