The procedures followed at the close of the dig season are described: mending, cleaning, and inventory. A brief vacation followed the summer's activities before resuming the tasks of reassessing the current finds and integrating them with the previous season's artifacts. A house in Corinth that had burned in the third century A.D. required a great deal of attention; the conservator spent three months consolidating and restoring a glass panel that was found under the tiles of the collapsed roof. The conservator and three potmenders continued work on the consolidation of a fresco. -- AATA
