Abstract
A study of a typology and the use of laboratory techniques have permitted a first classification of Spanish Levantine and Andalusian pottery in Provence and Languedoc. Thus, besides various well-known Valencian groups, we have distinguished a former group partly belonging to the so-called type of Pula and showing great affinities with Valencian products, and a group of wares coming from Malaga. The stylistic features and chronological data of these different groups are studied, as well as the problems of places of manufacture.
