Abstract
Residues of naled were more toxic than those of dichlorvos in controlling pests. The residue toxicity of the water-base formulation of each insecticide was generally more persistent than that of the corresponding oil-base formulation. Both naled and dichlorvos residues dissipated to non-toxic levels from 1 to 7 days after application, depending upon formulation and toxicant.
