Abstract
Two major problems arise with the internal lighting of museum showcases. First, there is the problem of colour rendering. Secondly, there is the question of volume or three-dimensional mass, for light can flatten sculpted surfaces. The author explains the technical aspects of these problems. -- ICCROM
