A method is proposed for the separate determination of coefficient of diffusion within the volume of the lattice and boundary surfaces by the layer removal method for the case of the process of diffusion of iron in magnetite prepared from powdered oxide with grains of the order of l-10 microns in diameter. Results are compared with data from absorption measurements.
