Abstract
A silo containing shelled corn was treated with carbon dioxide for control of a potential natural infestation of stored-product insects. Damage to the corn averaged 16.3% in samples taken before treatment and held 60 days; damage averaged 0.6% in samples taken after treatment and held for this period.
