Abstract
The relationships between the mechanical properties of wool fabrics in tension, pure bending and shear, fabric structural parameters such as fabric weight and weave crimp, and wool fabric dimensional stability were investigated. In general, no strong relationships were found between fabric hygral expansion behavior and fabric mechanical properties. For a wide range of commercially and laboratory produced fabrics, however, significant relationships exist between these two sets of fabric variables. -- AATA
